Questions people ask
How do banks decide how much to lend me?
Mostly on your take-home pay. Banks usually let all your EMIs together take up to about 50% of your monthly income (some go higher for large incomes). Your credit score, age and job are checked too.
How much of the property price will the bank pay?
RBI limits it: up to 90% of the price for homes up to ₹30 lakh, 80% up to ₹75 lakh, and 75% above that. The rest, plus stamp duty and registration, is your down payment.
How can I get a bigger loan?
Add an earning family member as co-applicant, close small loans and credit-card dues first, or choose a longer tenure. Each one raises the EMI a bank will accept.
Is this the final amount the bank will sanction?
No — it is a close estimate to plan with. The bank's own check decides. If you are buying through us, we can introduce you to banks that lend on resale and distressed properties.
